FINALISTS FOR TWO
SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS IN 2011
Shorlisted in Construction News Specialists Awards and Sustain Magazine Awards
Winners of Sustain Magazine Award for Land in 2009 and finalists in the Award for Water in 2010, Herpetosure has been named finalist in these awards for the 3 years running. This year’s entry focused on the recently completed Pocket Park Reserve Project in Eynesbury near Cambridge.
This project was completed for clients Taylor Wimpey and showcased the Groups ability to use sustainable and ecologically sensitive techniques to deliver complex and time critical requirements. The project included the installation of 1300 metres of Herpetosure Reptile Fencing, the construction of 6 large Hibernaculas and the sensitive site clearance and destructive search of an area of over 4 hectares.
The Group have also been named as finalist in Construction News Magazine’s Specialists Award 2011 in the Sustainability category – this is the fourth year in a row that Herpetosure has made the final in these awards but it is our first time in the sustainability category.
These awards look at the entire business operation as whole, including office processes, policies, innovations, project delivery and products.
The winners of both awards will be announced in March and we will hopefully post the good news as soon as we know.
